Initially the role will have a strong focus on New Business Development so a proven track record in generating significant New Business in the National/Regional Accounts arena is essential.

Our Client is a leading publisher of innovative Greeting Cards as well as ancilliary products such as stationery, giftwrap etc.
A vacancy has arisen for a Field Sales Representative to cover the North of England. This is a classic Territory Management role with a strong emphasis on the ability to build long term, effective relationships with Retail accounts as well as source for New Business. Excellent Journey Planning, Sales, Negotiation & People skills are therefore required as is a highly structured & disciplined approach.
Candidates will ideally be able to demonstrate a consultative sales style as well as a proven track record of developing effective business relationships. A strong sales background with the ability to achieve & over achieve targets is essential. Candidates must have the discipline & structure to effectively manage a large territory. Our Client will consider successful Sales Professionals from any FMCG related sector although a background in Greeting Cards, Gifts etc would be ideal.
This will primarily be a home based role & candidates will ideally live near the M62 corridor although candidates outside of this location who live in the north will also be considered.
